Siri is all set to understand English in Indian accent. 9to5Mac has reported that the Cupertino giant wants to expand its fan base in India and will launch the feature in its iOS 8.3 beta 2.
So far, the users from the world`s largest democracy were forced to fake an American accent in order to use the feature but the update intends to sort out the issue. Apple is also set to launch its devices in a variety of international languages including Russian, Danish, Dutch, Thai, Turkish, Swedish, and Portuguese.
Reports of these features coming in had been doing rounds for years and Apple`s job listings were indicating the same. The recent developments have confirmed these reports and although Hindi language support is not yet on the horizon, our Desi Apple enthusiasts will be happy to see that they have a high priority in Apple`s scheme of things.
