Google System Update September 2024: Check here what’s new

Google System Update September 2024 has been released by the Google which consists monthly “Google System Release Notes”.

The Release notes primarily give detailed information about what’s new in Play services, Play Store, and Play system updates in Android devices, Wear OS, Google/Android TV, Auto, and PC.

Some features in new update applied to end users, while some features are aimed at developers for efficient work in Android devices.

List of first-party apps that comprise the “Google System” for Google System Update:

• Adaptive Connectivity Services: The version number can be checked in App info. For this, go to Settings> All apps> App info > version number can be check there.
• Android System Intelligence: App info
• Android TV Core Services
• Android WebView: App info
• Device Health Services: App info
• Settings Services: App info
• Google Play Store: App info
• Google Play System update: For this, go to Settings> About phone> Android version.
• Sim Manager: App info

The features are not widely available yet. Some may take months to get fully launched.

Developer Services

This service consists of services related to Bug fixes for Developer.

Device Connectivity

• Users will get instructions on how to use Quick share on phone using this feature.
• With the Quick share update, users will have a new flow when receive files using Quick share.
• This new feature will also provide users new UI updates on phones when they receive files through Quick Share.

Google Play Store update v42.6:

• The update brings improvement to Google Play Protect which will bring protection of PC, phone, and TV from more harmful apps.
• At the top of the App Details page, users will be able to see the status of their Play Points on phone with the help of this new feature.
• In Android Auto, users will be able to see a banner image with app icons when they open sign-in page of Play store, which will explain the benefits of Play Store.
