OxygenOS new update 14.0.0.712 has been started rolling out to OnePlus 10T phones in India, Europe, and North America.
September 2024 security patch and various system improvements has been brought by this OxygenOS new update.

System specs:
- Scrolling screenshot experience has been improved in which Notifications and Live Alerts which were earlier used to pop up will not pop up anymore, and also floating windows will not be displayed while taking scrolling screenshot.
- An issue is fixed in which once an app is updated then an “Uninstall updates” button may not be available.
- If a global theme is applied then the background of Quick Launch settings may appear black.

Security specs:
- In Settings > Device motion & orientation permission, an option of “Deny only when app launches” has been added for redefined control of application jumps.
In the previous updates of OnePlus 9 and 10 series devices, there was the report of motherboard issue. No such issue has been reported in the update of OnePlus 10T.
As the update is gradually releasing, initially small percentage of users are getting it, wider rollout can be expected in coming days.
Users can open Settings> About Phone> check for the update option. If it is available there, download and install it.
