AI agent ‘Jarvis’ is an upcoming project of Google which will be powered by Gemini 2.0. This new project Jarvis will be a universal AI agent which will help in everyday life, as said by the Google.
Google is doing great work in the field of AI, and the evident is the upgrades Google has brought to the Gemini chatbot over past few months.
Google’s upcoming AI agent ‘Jarvis’ :
- During an I/O developer conference held in May, the company Google spoke about a “universal AI agent helpful in everyday life”. Google is working on this AI agent and its functionality could land on Gemini this year. And it is codenamed as “Project Jarvis”.
- According to the report of The Information, this Project Jarvis can reportedly help to automate user’s web browser to perform one of many tasks including flights booking, researching information or buying products.
- It can do all these tasks by continuously capturing screenshots of the screen and understanding them before user tap any button or text anything.
- But for now, the responses are slow as the model first needs to understand the context before taking any action. It will definitely increase with time and experience.
At first, the capabilities of this AI agent will be tested to a small batch of users, then after it will be launched for the mass users. Google choose not to show off the capabilities of its upcoming AI agent before its official launch.
It has been noted by one of the reporter in I/O 2024 that this upcoming AI agent looks like “a functional version of what ‘Humane’ and ‘Rabbit’ promised on their dedicated hardware.”
The Project Jarvis might be introduced in December, with the experience tailored for Google Chrome. But officially the date has not been announced by Google.
As no images or videos are available to demonstrate the model “Jarvis”, so after the official release of the model only, we’ll get to know more about its capabilities and productivity.
