Mediatek Dimensity 9400 has been announced today which is a flagship chipset having powerful CPU and the best graphics unit. It is packed with all the latest technology which includes- new ISP, NPU, and improved power efficiency.
This flagship chipset performance and efficiency has been further enhanced by the SoC which is built by TSMC on the 3 nm process (N3E).
Some of the powerful features of Dimensity 9400:
- The new flagship chipset offers a 15% increased IPC, which provide users 35% gain in single-core performance and about 28% improvement in multiple core.
- The GPU which is Immortalis-G925 runs at 1612 MHz frequency promises- 41% performance improvement, 40% faster ray tracing performance and 44% power savings.
- The on-device AI of new flagship chipset is handled by the NPU 890 which will consume 35% less energy than the previous one.
- The Imagiq 1090 ISP of the chipset will enable HDR video capture across the entire zoom range, which means that users can change zoom levels and lenses without compromising in the quality of video.
- The latest 10.7 Gbps LPDDR5X RAM is also getting implemented by this new chipset first in the market, which has a 100% increase in L2 cache and 50% in L3 cache.
- The CPU of Dimensity 9400 has an architecture of 1+3+4. The super-performance core is Cortex-X925, and it runs at 3.63 GHz, and then there is 3 Cortex-X4 units which has a maximum 3.3 GHz frequency.
- Also, there are four Cortex-A720 units at 2.4 GHz for better efficiency.
Dimensity 9400 chips has already been shipped by Mediatek to OEMs. It is expected that the new flagship chipset “MediaTek Dimensity 9400” would be seen in the Oppo Find X8 in the month of November and then in vivo X200 series this month only.
