Price hike of the model:
Last year in December, its predecessor ‘Realme GT5 Pro’ launched with price tag of CNY3,399, which is almost 15% less than the expected new price. The specs of Realme GT5 Pro’ includes- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 5400 mAh battery, 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, triple main camera of 50MP, 50MP, 8MP, and selfie camera of 32 MP. The reason for increase in price might be the features of new flagship model.
And the similar could be done with the 15 series and the Redmi K80 lineup, showing price hike of about $100 that is CNY 600-700 in just one year.
A report published earlier this month in which it has been revealed by the IDC that sales of premium smartphones in China have been on the rise in the past three quarters.
And, the Realme GT7 Pro launch date has been decided by the company a week ahead of the biggest shopping festival in the Asian country, Singles Day (11.11). Well, the sale of phone in this shopping festival will show that whether higher base price will benefit the brand or users opt for other, more affordable flagships option.
