Samsung Health app update has brought a massive integrated platform that help users to access their health record, track their medications and daily food intake.
MEDICAL RECORDS:
It’s such an amazing update of Samsung Health app which help users to be updated with their health by allowing access of their medical records from clinics, hospitals, and major health networks. And in this, b.well Connected Health will help, with which Samsung has tied up, which works with major Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in the US (Cerner Health, Epic Systems, Veradigm).
Samsung health app provides alert and insights of your health and also recommend you medical tests and checkups based on your previous health history, as all lab results and vitals are present in the Health app which users can see anytime.
MEDICATION TRACKING:
Health app provides Medication tracking feature which help users to track your prescription and remind about medications to take them on time.
it helps in tracking a general description, possible side effects, and unwanted interactions with other medications.
Samsung health app takes care of you in every possible manner, even it warns you to stay away from certain foods or drinks that may cause adverse reactions in combination with the current medication.
The feature already available in the US since last year. And, now it will be expanding to South Korea and India..
Users need to scan the pill bottle with phone’s camera to add the list of medication in the app, and the app will keep updating you regarding the dosage schedules, missed doses and other info on the various medications you take.
FOOD TRACKING:
To speed up the process of logging your meals, the Health app can even barcode of your food for you. This will help you in tracking calories you intake, and also allows to view nutrition facts.
This new feature is getting available in the US first along with France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland. Later on, the feature will roll out in other countries as well.
