Google is rolling out Google apps new “Activity” tab with the help of which users can easily access their search history and saved items.
Google apps new “Activity” tab:
New feature of Google apps brings a new “Activity “tab at the bottom of the app. The new tab introduced for the Google apps will provide an option to users to easily access their search history from both Chrome and the Google app itself.
The new tab can also be used as a central hub for managing saved items, replacing the existing “Saved” tab.
The new Activity tab will provide so many new and exciting features to its users. A fully native app experience will be provided which will give a more integrated way to users to deal with their browsing and search history.

After this new feature, Users will be able to view, manage, and even take actions such as saving, sharing, or deleting specific history items directly within the app.
Availability of new feature to Google apps:
The feature is currently in the testing phase and for almost two months it has been in development period, according to the report of Android Authority contributor Assemble Debug.
For now, the new Activity tab will be available to few users only, as before wider roll out of the feature Google is probably taking it out for a spin. But users should keep an eye on the update as very soon it will roll out to more users.
Screenshots and a video of the new ‘Activity’ tab was shared by one of the users named Andrey (@andrey4ik21pro1_q on Telegram) when he noticed the new tab feature on his Pixel 7 Pro device running Android 15, and the Google app version he is on is 15.44.25.29.arm64.
It has been noticed that the accessibility of the new feature does not need any additional flags or configuration, it is easy to access and easy to use.
Well, getting native app experience instead of a simple web view-based interface, and getting integrated way to interact with browsing and search history will really be great. Let’s hope that the wider roll out of Google apps “Activity tab” will take place soon.
