Google Home Member access feature is rolling out for Google Home users introduced by Google that will help users to share devices and controls of their smart home with people they trust like family members and friends.
Well, it totally depends on the users that what they want to share, users can either share their entire home or some specific devices in the Google Home app with others.
New Member access feature of Google Home :
Google is rolling out new update that brings a slew of new feature and one of the features coming to Google Home users is “Member access”.
This new member access feature provides Google Home users to share their smart home or some specific devices with others like roommates, kids, grandparents, or babysitters.
Using this feature, living room speakers, office lights, and thermostats into a “home” can be grouped and then family members can be invited to join as members of that home. And each member will have an access to control and manage the devices you have shared. Isn’t it great?

Also, users will have an option to choose whether they want to grant other people full admin access or customize member access according to what they want to share with them. So, it depends on user that whether they want to share an access of entire smart house or want to customize the access of sharing.
