HMD Fusion launched in India with three Fusion outfits called “Smart Outfits”. These Smart Outfits are interchangeable back covers to bring extra features and style to the smartphone.
HMD Fusion was unveiled in September and now it finally made its debut in India on November 25, 2024 Three different Smart Outfits have been introduced by HMD in India that includes- Casual Outfit, Flashy Outfit, and Gaming Outfit.
Flashy Outfit – To match different selfie moods, it offers a foldable LED ring light that supports up to 16 million colors.
Gaming Outfit – It is basically a joystick for an enhanced gaming experience.
Casual Outfit – As its name implies, it is for everyday use.
HMD Fusion specification in India:
- The model is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC processor, which comes in a single configuration of 8GB RAM/256GB storage in India.
- HMD Fusion runs Android 14, and the company has promised to give two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the Fusion.
- It features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
- Talking about the camera of the model, it offers three cameras: 108 MP (primary), 2 MP (depth) rear camera, and 50 MP selfie camera.
- It supports a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Talking about the repairability of the model, the company said that the components like the display, battery, and charging port of the model can be replaced using basic tools to improve longevity and reduce e-waste.
To enhance the gaming experience for Fusion users, the company has tied up with Digital Turbine and Aptiode in India. This partnership will bring the Aptiode game store with the “Play with your HMD Gaming Outfit” section to HMD Fusion for users to download joystick-specific games.
HMD Fusion Price and Availability in India:
The model will be available in black color in India and will be sold through Amazon.in and HMD’s website from November 29.
HMD Fusion launched in India with the price model of INR17,999 ($215/€205), and the buyers will get Casual, Flashy, and Gaming Outfits worth INR5,999 ($70/€65) as a complimentary.
The model will get available for sale with a limited-time special launch price of INR15,999 ($190/€180) through Amazon.in.
