November 19, 2024 – Xiaomi has confirmed Redmi A4 5G launch date in India, the most affordable 5G Android smartphone in the country with a price of INR 8,499 ($100) with discounts.
The model was introduced over a month ago but is still unavailable on open sale. Now it has been revealed by the company that the Redmi A4 5G will launch in India on November 20.

This model of Xiaomi is the most affordable option for users to purchase Android smartphones. Redmi A4 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset with Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU, and it will run Android 14, HyperOS. This model is the first in India to launch with a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset.
*Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset is Qualcomm’s new affordable 5G chipset fabbed on a 4nm process which is designed mainly for the budget smartphones launching in India.
Talking about the display of the model, A4 5G features a 6.7-inch, IPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and has HD+ resolution.

This budget phone has good battery support as well. It consists 5,160 mAh battery with 18W wired charging support.
Well, the camera is also a very important factor in making any smartphone worth it. And, if talk about the camera specs of Redmi A4 5G, it features a 50 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera for selfies.
When the device will be available for sale, it will be sold in 4/64GB trim and a version with 128GB storage.
Other features of the model includes side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, Glass front with plastic frame, microSDXC card slot with internal storage of 64GB 4GB RAM.
