Huawei Mate X6 foldable smartphone launched globally by the company on Thursday during its “Unfold the Classic” product launch event in Dubai. It was first launched in China a little over two weeks ago, and now it is making its global debut.
Huawei Mate X6 is a successor to last year’s China-exclusive Mate X5 with some improvements, like a better camera and a larger battery.

Huawei Mate X6 foldable phone features a 7.93-inch (2,440×2,240 pixels) main OLED display with 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.
It has a 6.45-inch (1,080×2,440 pixels) quad-curved OLED external screen with a 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Both the screens of the phone have refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and are protected with Kunlun Glass second-generation protection.

The chipset of the Mate X6 is not revealed by the company but it is expected that it will be powered by the latest Kirin 9100 chip.
Huawei Mate X6 smartphone launched globally with the configuration of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the Chinese edition is available in 256GB and 512GB storage options.
For photography, the rear camera of the foldable phone features Ultra Chroma technology that has a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with OIS, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48-megapixel telephoto macro camera.
For selfies, it has two 8-megapixel cameras arranged on both the inner and outer displays.
The Huawei Mate X6 has a powerful 5,110mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless fast charging support, which is larger than its successor.
The phone weighs around 239g and it has an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
Other features of the phone include an ambient light sensor, barometer, color compass, fingerprint sensor, camera laser focus sensor, gesture sensor, gravity sensor, hall sensor, proximity sensor, and temperature sensor.
Huawei Mate X6 price and availability:
The phone is currently available in UAE for purchase with a price tag of AED 7199 (Rs 1,66,000). Also, it is available for pre-order in a few other global markets through Huawei’s online platforms as well as retailers.
Huawei Mate X6 is available in three different colors in the global market: Black, Nebula Gray, and Nebula Red shades.
