Android users could get support of voice inputs on WhatsApp with the help of Meta AI. Currently Meta AI on WhatsApp supports only text inputs, but the new beta version is expected to support voice inputs alongside text input on the messaging platform for Android users.

In case, if the original audio message has poor quality or it has a lot of background noise, then Meta AI will prompt the user to re-record it.
- The feature would likely process the requests on-device for privacy maintenance.
- The feature will also allow users to see the textual transcription of audio notes of both incoming and outgoing.
