Gmail Q&A feature on Android is a new AI-based feature introduced by Google for Android users which allow users to easily search any specific inbox emails, summarize it and many more.
What is new Gmail Q&A feature on Android?
Based on Gemini AI chatbot, this new way of searching inbox ‘Gmail Q&A feature’ allow users to use Gemini “How can I help you today?” sheet feature by which users can enter a full prompt of their wish and get any help related to their inbox searching.
Using this feature, users ask Gemini Assistant to do specific work like- finding specific details in their emails, to show unread messages, view messages from a specific sender, or summarize emails about a topic in their inbox.
Earlier, this feature was introduced for desktop web, but now Google is rolling out this feature for Android devices, and this will soon roll out for iOS devices as well, as said by ‘Google’.

How new Gmail feature work on Android device?
Android users can see the Gemini option in the left corner of the search bar in Gmail. The Gemini button can also be seen in the toolbar when you open an email, positioned left of archive. This Gemini side panel can also be expanded to take up the entire screen.
Taping the Gemini option slides up another sheet where users can enter a prompt or use one of the suggestions available like “Summarize this email” button. This will help users to save their time by summarizing their email, and showing them unread emails at the top, making users searching experience easy, efficient and optimised.
There will also a pre-session history option available in the corner which allow users to “Clear history”.
This feature is ready to be launched by Google to- personal accounts subscribed to Google One AI Premium, with Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium.
