Notification syncing between Android devices feature might be available to us as Google might introduce it with Android 15, as new “sync across devices” feature has been spotted in the Setting app in Android 15 QPR1 Beta2 update.
What is notification syncing feature between Android devices?
- This new feature will help to sync notifications between different Android devices. Notifications easily get delivered on Android devices if you install different android apps on them, but these notifications are not synced between them, which means that if notification got dismissed on Android phone , the same notification got stick on Android tablet.
- Hence, Google tried to find solution of this problem by introducing the new “sync across devices” feature which has been spotted in the latest Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 update by Android Authority which will appear in Settings > Notification between “sensitive notifications” and the new “notification cooldown” option. Also, this feature might not be exclusive to Pixels.
- The new feature of Notification syncing between Android devices could be similar to the “Instant hotspot” menu item which is added by Google under “Wi-fi hotspot” settings in AOSP settings app. By tapping “Instant hotspot” item the settings page for ‘Android’s new hotspot feature’ get opened which is a part of Google Play Services. Similarly, this new “sync across devices” option could be able to open up new page in Google Play Services app which help to sync notifications between Android devices of users.

This new feature would be available to all Android devices. Since, there is no evidence that when this feature will be available in the actual Google Play Services app, so we can’t say that the new “cross-device services” what actually do.
Well, whatever the case may be, but user’s common problem of notification syncing between their different android devices will get resolved by Google. It would be perfect for the new cross-device services suite.
