From next month, Xbox games purchase directly from the Android app will be available for users as Microsoft is all set to take advantage of a US court ruling that forces Google to crack open Android for third-party stores.
It has been planned by Microsoft to update its Xbox mobile app for US users to provide them access of purchasing and then playing Xbox games on their mobile devices itself, as US court ruling has brought force on Google to allow access to third-party source on Android App store.

Xbox president Sarah Bond posted on Twitter saying that- “The court’s ruling to open up Google’s mobile store in the US will allow more choice and flexibility”. So from November, US users will be able to play and purchase Xbox games directly from the Xbox App on Android so that the availability reaches to more users, by which more players can play on more devices.
Also, Microsoft will be able to integrate Xbox Cloud Gaming features which means that after purchasing games people will be able to immediately stream games to their handsets.
Microsoft once started working on a browser-based Xbox mobile store as well. The first focus Of the store is to make first-party mobile games from Microsoft’s various studios. In august, it was stated by Microsoft that the testing had begun on the web-based mobile store and “work is progressing well”.
It has been notably appealed by the Google to the court verdict that allows Microsoft to make these changes, but the decision requires Google to make changes by November 1 of this year.
So, we can now conclude that Xbox games purchase from Android app will get available for users from next month.
